An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sexual Health nurse, to join our friendly, enthusiastic and committed team within the axess Knowsley.
Experienced clinicians who have both/either a contraception (DFSRH, LoC SDI or equivalent) and STI qualification (STIF Intermediate) will be considered as this is not an Annex training post.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver patient care and manage all areas within the department demonstrating professionalism, clinical expertise with excellent communication skills in all aspects of their work. The work is varied and includes conducting consultations for both contraception and STI screening. Working from PGD to dispense both contraceptive and STI treatments, STI management and health advising & results management is also required as part of the role. The provision of LARC methods including sub dermal implant insertion.
This role is to work in the axess clinic site in Huyton or Kirkby
Working pattern will also include evenings
