We are pleased to be in a position to offer a permanent position highly motivated, energetic and ambitious Senior Sister/Charge Nurses, who want to make a difference and join our Critical Care Nursing Team working closely with Management team, Consultants and MDT colleagues.

Main duties of the job

You will have extensive, current experience in a level 2/3 Critical Care environment and will have completed a post graduate Critical Care Course and step 4 competencies with evidence of excellent clinical competency at a minimum of Band 6 seniority. We are looking for individuals with an outstanding clinical skillset, excellent leadership and communication skills who are able to demonstrate a proactive, collaborative and innovative approach to the clinical environment. It is expected that you can provide clear evidence of patient-centred care with a keen interest in quality improvement.

You will be supporting the safety and quality agenda of patient care and staff management , ensuring that the values and objectives of the Trust are met. whilst improving patient outcomes.

We are extremely proud of the standards of care that we provide, as proved by our ICNARC data; more recently performing above average with COVID-19 clinical outcomes, CQC inspections, internal/external performance metrics and patient experience/family feedback. Our Research Team have taken us to a national stage and we are a significant contributor to The National COVID-19 Studies as well as many other valued trials.

We have recently merger with our neighbouring Trust and are now part of Liverpool Hospitals spanning across 3 sites serving the large population of Merseyside as well as being a Regional Trauma Centre for Cheshire and Merseyside. We also provide Tertiary Care for MFU and vascular specialities.
