An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Supply Chain Team Leader within the Endoscopy unit Royal hospital
The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, storage, distribution and supply of goods within the endoscopy unitManage all matters relating to the stock holding, receipting anddistribution of goods accepted by stores.Resolve customer and supplier enquires relating to the serviceprovision.Support staff and service users in the roll out and ongoing use ofinventory management systems
Main duties of the job
To ensure adequate stock control to ensure service runs smoothly
To lead the supply chain assistants responsible for providing stockcontrol, re-ordering and supply services in accordance with Trustprocedures.
To oversee stock control procedures off-loading of goods, andreceipting of items to ensure appropriate storage and delivery to theagreed locations in a reliable, timely, and convenient manner usinginventory management systems provided.
To support, monitor and review the activities of the team to ensure thatthey provide a service to the agreed level.
To develop the service with the supply chain manager to meet thechanging requirements of customers and the external market.
