Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust (LUHFT) for a HCPC/NMC registered ODP/RN with anaesthetic qualification to join the Theatre team at Band 6We have over 20 operating theatres covering all major specialities, including: General surgery, Urology (including robotic surgery), Breast and Endocrine. Renal Transplant, Ophthalmic surgery, Upper G I, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary, Radiology and Emergency surgery. Also including off site Dental surgery and Clatter bridge cancer services.

The successful applicant will work within the theatres team in anaesthetics. There would be opportunity to rotate within the disciplines and this would be supported by the theatre team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team. To provide support and knowledge to patients within the speciality. Acts as a role model, demonstrating effective organisational, clinical and leadership skills.

Maintain patient confidentiality and record keeping.

Demonstrate a knowledge of good I.T skills and record keeping.
