Job summary
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT) is delighted to offer a 12-month Fixed Term contract for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+ level) within our Tropical and Infectious Diseases Unit.
The appointed candidate will work within our inpatient ward areas and outpatient clinics.
LUHFT is a tertiary referral centre for Infectious & Tropical Diseases and has a strong relationship with LSTM and thus will provide the candidate with a wealth of experience and training to further their career.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support patient care on Infectious Diseases Wards at a level appropriate to their stage of training or career development. This will be supported by educational and clinical supervision.
The post holder would be expected to join our multidisciplinary meetings, for Infection Radiology, TB, and HIV.
The post holder would be welcome to join our educational meetings, including a weekly departmental teaching program, journal and audit club, and monthly regional meetings for TB and HIV.
This job does not come with an on-call responsibility, and therefore there is no additional remuneration associated with out of hours work. Successful applicants may be able to participate in the Hospital Medical on-call rota where this available, for which appropriate additional remuneration would be provided.
