Are you a passionate and forward-thinking Orthodontist ready to shape the future of dental care and education? We're looking for an exceptional Consultant in Orthodontics to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team at the Liverpool University Dental Hospital (LUDH) -- a centre of excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team of Consultant Orthodontists, orthodontic therapists, trainees, and academic colleagues. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality orthodontic care, education, and service development.
Main duties of the job
o Provide consultant-led orthodontic care, including new patient assessments and treatment planning.
o Supervise and teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, including StRs and post-CCST trainees.
o Collaborate with colleagues across specialties including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, and Restorative Dentistry.
o Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and research initiatives.
o Will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative regional working with Consultant Orthodontists across Cheshire and Merseyside
o Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and CPD.

o GDC registration with inclusion on the Orthodontic Specialist List.
o CCST in Orthodontics (or within 6 months of completion).
o Experience in multidisciplinary orthodontic care and teaching.
