An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Registered Nurse to join our Reablement team at Broadgreen Hospital as a Deputy Ward Manager.

Ward 7 is a 23 bedded unit which is part of the Reablement Hub in Broadgreen Hospital. The Reablement Hub is an award winning unit dedicated to providing patients who are usually medically optimised for discharge with the support & facilitation including therapy input necessary to return home safely.

Reablement uses a strength based person centred approach, leading to an improved health & well being & aims to maximise independent living, reducing or eliminating the need for ongoing care packages

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work without direct supervision and will take charge of the ward/ department in the absence of the ward/ department manager, who holds continuing responsibility.

Key responsibilities will include the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, effective leadership and staff management/development. The post holder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.
