Job summary
Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a LAS SHO to work within the North Mersey Stroke Centre based at Aintree Hospital.
Applications for less than full time working will be considered. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a LAS SHO.
Our team provide hyper acute stroke care and rehabilitation to approximately 1500 stroke admissions per year. We provide 24/7 thrombolysis and a 7-day rapid assessment service for TIA's. Telemedicine is used for delivery of thrombolysis out of hours. Thrombectomy is provided at the adjacent Walton Centre and has expanded to 24/7 from October 2021.
Main duties of the job
The role will include, working alongside our consultant, ANP's and junior doctor teams to support inpatient and outpatient care, across the Department for Older People and Stroke (DMOPS) at the Aintree site.
The successful applicant will rotate with other StR's across the care group to have access to all ward areas.
