Job summary
We have a rare opportunity for a motivated , clinically credible and astute nurse leader to join the RLUH site as a Duty manager who oversee all activity out of hours with in the Trust.
The successful candidate will be a skilled and competent clinician able to deliver high quality evidence based care to patients yet, at the same time be able to meet the challenges of managing a busy Trust. As the most senior nurse on site overnight, you will be dealing with a wide range of clinical and organisational issues in a variety of settings.
The post offers a real opportunity for a senior nurse who wants to keep a clinical focus to their career whilst developing operationally as a manager.
As the role has a clinical component, the successful candidate will possess a wide range of practical skills and demonstrate a broad based nursing background, which would ideally include recent operational site management experience. A non-medical prescribing qualification is desirable, as are qualifications in, or extensive experience of advanced practice roles.
