An exciting opportunity has arisen for a healthcare assistant to join our team within our Treatment Room Service on Fracture Clinic within the Major Trauma and Orthopaedics Directorate. Our team encompasses progressions made within wound care and dressing choice and we strive to make a difference to every patient and their patient journey with us.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual with varying levels of experience to provide an exceptional health service to all of our patients. Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Ward / Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer. The post holder will undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by aregistered nurse.
You would be working in the Treatment room alongside other Band 3 and Band 5 nurses completing dressings, seeing patients who have all various wound care requirements.
You would also be completing pre-operative screening of patients: weights/ heights/ MRSA swabs/ bloods.
