We are looking for someone thoughtful who has enthusiasm for supporting the Sterile Services Team.
This is a Drivers role, driving designated 3.5 Luton Van for Sterile Services across all sites: RLH, Broadgreen, Dental Hospital and Aintree Hospital collecting Contaminated reusable surgical instruments and delivering the processed Decontaminated reusable surgical instruments.
A full UK driving license is required. You must have no more than 6 points on driving license.
Main duties of the job
To transfer Reusable surgical instrumentation across Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust in designated Sterile Services Vans.
To assist customers as and when required. you will observe personal duty of care for equipment and resources that you use in the course of your job i.e. Trolley's, cages and vehicles.
To keep documented reports associated with each journey i.e. vehicle log sheets, mileage to comply with Transport Regulations.
The post will require some problem solving to address on site customer enquiries.
