Ward Clerk - Ward 7B Royal Hospital

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time ward clerk band 2 post on ward 7B at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

The ward is a mixed ward with 28 patients, 14 beds for Nephrology and 14 beds for Transplant.

The role requires the successful candidate to have good basic IT skills and to be able to speak confidently to patients when dealing with their enquires either face to face or over the phone. The successful candidate will also be responsible of arriving the patients via the IPM system for their appointment and ensuring they have a new appointment for their next treatment if required.

Main duties of the job

The main roles are answering the phone, good basic computer skills, ensuring patients next appointments have been booked. Dealing with the public on a daily basis.

preferably previous experience is required but training will be given. The candidate needs to be confident in this role
