Job summary
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. This is a full-time post attracting an initial 10 PA's, including on call work. Applicants interested in working less than full time will be considered.
This post will have a subspecialty interest in Lung Cancer and be part of a large multidisciplinary team.
The role would be based on the Aintree site for inpatient and outpatient work. They will also contribute to review of acute admissions on a respiratory PTWR. They will be involved in training of junior medical staff and participate in weekly departmental meetings and radiology meetings.
There will be weekly cancer clinics run in parallel with respiratory nurse specialists (RNS). The post holder will work closely with the RNS team for local cancer MDTS and team meetings.

Clinical activities will be supported by members of the junior medical staff from the Chest Centre, office accommodation and secretarial support will be provided.
