Job summary

In the Emergency Department the Band 2 HCA will be responsible for supporting nursing staff within ED.

You will need to be dynamic and enthusiastic in your role, as the ED is fast paced and is faced with new challenges every day.

You need to be able to work within the trust values.We require caring, professional people who are keen to learn and provide good nursing care to patients attending the ED.

Main duties of the job

The band 2 HCA is a key member of the Emergency Department Team. You will provide a high standard of basic nursing care to enhance the patient journey through the department.

You will work closely with the nursing staff across the emergency floor.

You will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties, and stocking of equipment throughout the emergency department.
