Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand the team of Vascular Specialist Nurses within the Liverpool Vascular and Endovascular Service (LiVES) with full time and part time Band 6 roles avaliable.
We would welcome enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurses with a high level of clinical decision making and sound theoretical and practical knowledge base, who strives to maintain clinical excellence.
Successful appicants will be provided with a 6 month, role specific developmental plan in order to develop your vascular knowledge and skills.
Post holder may be required to work across the LiVES footprint of the Royal, Aintree, Whiston and Southport Hospital with occassional travel for AAA Screening across the Chesire and Mersey region.

Main duties of the job
-The role will involve supporting the Senior Vascular Nurses with the daily coordination of the Vascular service and caseload management of this group of patients within both clinic and ward environment.
-Supporting National Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme where you will manage and be responsible for community based nurse assessment clinics across the whole of Cheshire and Merseyside region including secure unit, which includes health promotion, appropriate referrals, data management and participate in audits.
-You will need excellent communication skills be able to deliver education and advice to patients, carers and health care professionals.
-This post entails working alongside the Vascular multi-disciplinary team and could involve the review of patients across a number of hospital settings and clinics as well as integration within the community.
