Higher Appointment Clerk
12 month secondment in Interventional Theatres
Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Interventional Theatres on the RLUH site for a Higher Appointment Clerk. Following the move to the new hospital interventional radiology is now incorporated with main theatres which has led to new processes being adopted to ensure safe working, including use of multiple IT systems. One of these systems is the theatre management information system (TMIS) which is where all patients for interventional radiology (pre-planned or emergency) need to be listed.
The role can often be varied and complex but with a high level of job satisfaction.
The role requires the candidate to be a good team player as the successful candidate will be joining a large administration and clerical group with good peer group support. The role will also offer the candidate opportunities to learn new skills within radiology and variety in their day to day activities.
In addition to general clerical duties the role requires accessing patients confidential record data and undertaking a variety of administrative tasks associated with patients' appointments.
The successful candidate will receive training on all systems.
