An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Personal Assistant to join our team of Divisional PAs, supporting the Divisional Medical Director, Divisional Director of Operations and Divisional Director of Nursing of Surgery. This is a full time or part time 25 hours ,Band 4 post and the role will be based at the Royal Liverpool hospital site for a period of 12 months maternity cover.We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and professional PA who has excellent organisational and communication skills. This would be an ideal opportunity to progress your career within the NHS.
You must be a proficient minute taker with excellent keyboard skills, a detailed understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and have previous experience managing multiple busy and complex diaries. You will be required to manage your own workload whilst working within the wider Divisional PA team.
Previous experience working in the NHS would be an advantage but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Supporting a busy and diverse team, you will be enthusiastic and highly motivated to provide a quality PA service to the Divisional Director of Operations, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Director of Nursing. Able to balance conflicting demands on your time and your Directors' time, you will have excellent organisational skills, delivering a high standard of accuracy and maintaining professionalism at all times. The role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive, friendly can-do attitude and the ability to develop strong working relationships across the Division. You should be comfortable managing your own workload, using your initiative, while also working as part of the wider Divisional PA team.
