Quality Administrator - Pharmacy Aseptics
Aseptic Production Unit
Band 4 (37.5 hours per week)
We are a major acute teaching Trust offering a wide range of clinical specialities, including tertiary referrals for HIV and Renal Medicine. Pharmacy services are well developed and deliver high quality Medicines Management.
We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital sited in a brand-new purposely built state of the art manufacturing facility. You will work closely with the departmental senior leadership team to provide administrative support to the production unit. You will be part of a team that will develop and maintain a high level of support to the Royal Liverpool Pharmaceuticals (RLP) manufacturing service clinical and technical teams.
You will demonstrate a high degree of competence with regards to a wide range of administrative duties including the use and application of information technology.
With an understanding of aseptic services, the post holder will be capable of efficient communication whilst working under pressure, prioritising to deadlines and multi-tasking.

Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support to the Royal Liverpool Pharmaceuticals (RLP) manufacturing Team. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence with regard to a wide range of administrative duties including the use and application of information technology. It is essential to possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to manage own workload with the minimum of supervision, and to work to tight deadlines.

- To provide administrative support for the Quality Management System (Q-Pulse or equivalent) within RLP
- To effectively facilitate manage customer complaints and to liaise with the RLP Quality Manager and Assistant Director as required.
- To be responsible for the administrative duties pertinent to Q-Pulse/JAC and to assist in the upkeep of the Quality Management Systems.
- To organise & administer training programs to staff on Q-Pulse related subjects.
- To assist the Quality Team with the collation of statistical/capacity data and to assist in the production of a reports which are reportable to the Quality & Assurance Group meetings.
- To facilitate the processing of customer orders & co-ordination of delivery schedules for products manufactured at site.
- To be responsible for administering RLP Quality Assurance meetings which includes:
- Arranging dates and venues for meetings
- Preparing agendas
- Ensuring all papers are obtained, collated and circulated
- Taking and transcribing minutes
- Ensuring all actions relevant to the appropriate meetings are followed up
- Liaise with all levels of staff to ensure papers are received within a required timeframe
- To help facilitate all Freedom of Information requests
- To support the Quality Team with the production of Quality Management policies and procedures. To deliver full documentation management associated with RLP.
- To administer all queries in a confidential and competent manner
- To communicate effectively with all members of the Quality Team within RLP inclusive of all 3rd party service providers.
