Job summary
Estates & Facilities employ over 1600 staff, covering 3 acute hospital sites. The buildings are of mixed age and complexities.
A vacancy has arisen to continue the work of document control management for site plans, manuals and records. Data is old and new and the candidate will be expected to work autonomously as well as part of a team, to support the Trust in achieving document management compliance.
The role is integral to the ongoing demolition and development of the sites and links closely with Capital Development team, Property Management team, Operational Estates, CAFM and Health & Safety.
Main duties of the job
The candidate must be proficient in multiple document control and information system Platforms and have the relevant experience and suitable technical qualities to be able to learn new systems and processes that the Trust may bring on line.
The candidate must have sufficient experience and skills to be able to develop and assist departmental gap analysis needs for the systems and be able to train teams on the systems.
The requirement for the candidate is to work across the multisite locations at Aintree , BUH and RLUH to co-ordinate and control 3 key elements of Information Management on streamlined and co-ordinated Electronic Platform Systems :
- New Major Capital Schemes ( such as New Hospital Phase 1) Document & Information Control
- Health & Safety Department Assets and Systems for Legal and Regulatory Compliance
- Maintenance and Engineering Information Management and Control
