Main duties of the job
This role requires a high level of administrative skills to support clinical staff with the coordination of assessments where there may be or clearly is a deprivation of an individual's liberty as defined in the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005
Key areas of your role will be to:
- Assist the Safeguarding Service to interpret and analyse a range of complex performance and information systems to support project planning and delivery.
- Assist with the development of performance and outcome measures.
- To keep up to date with legislation in relation to GDPR, confidentiality and Freedom of Information etc.
- Oversee quality assurance of DoLS applications ensuring they are forwarded to the relevant supervisory body within a timely manner.
- Assist in both the development and design of policies and promotion material for the service
- Act as first point of contact for professionals across the trust, supervisory bodies and interested parties e.g. for data capture reports and work-stream analysis information.
Please note essential requirements for the post in relation to experience of servicing meetings, including minute talking, experience of developing reports, business documents and ability to demonstrate implementing change within the workplace.
