Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within Liverpool University Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust to recruit to the post of Medical Engineering Manager. The sucessful candidate will lead the Medical Engineering Department, delivering services across all Trust sites.
Main duties of the job
The Medical Engineering Manager has responsibility for the technical and managerial control and supervision of all directly employed and contracted staff carrying out maintenance on highly complex medical equipment; including life support, patient monitoring, patient therapy, diagnostic, ventilatory and anaesthetic equipment and the repairs of that equipment which may at times be 'patient connected'.
