Job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Information and Data Manager to join our innovative Palliative Care Team. The Integrated Mersey Palliative Care Team (IMPaCT) is a consultant-led, integrated, multi-professional palliative care service to support Liverpool, South Sefton & Kirkby patients with a life-limiting, palliative condition.

The successful candidate will be a flexible and driven team player who has a good understanding of NHS service provision and is keen to seek solutions to cross-organisational data collection and quality.The post holder will need to have a proficient level of written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT skills and be able to manage workload effectively and autonomously.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will develop and maintain databases to assist with the activity data of several specialist palliative care teams within Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust and external services working in collaboration in IMPaCT.

Working with various service leads across the department and IMPaCT, the post holder will collate data produced by the clinical teams which will be integral in evidencing performance against key performance indicators and will provide evidence of gaps in service and opportunities for further development.
