Location: Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Contract: Apprenticeship (Fixed Term) Salary: In line with NHS Apprenticeship pay scales About the Role Are you looking to start your career in the NHS and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join our Temporary Staffing Team - the team responsible for coordinating temporary workforce cover across our Trust. You'll be part of a busy, friendly, and supportive team working behind the scenes to make sure our wards and services are safely staffed, 7 days a week. Initially, you'll work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, while you learn the ropes. As your confidence grows, there will be opportunities to support the wider seven-day service and develop new skills.

Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing o Supporting the coordination of temporary staffing bookings across the Trust using the HealthRoster system o Assisting with booking requests, shift cancellations, and general enquiries from wards and departments o Helping with recruitment and training administration for bank workers o Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider Temporary Staffing Management Team o Learning about workforce planning, HR processes, and NHS systems What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: o Enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to learn o Organised with good attention to detail o Confident using computers and systems (training will be provided) o Able to work well under pressure in a busy office environment o A team player with great communication skills

Support and assist in office administration on a day to day basis as workload determines, reacting to changes in priorities as service dictates.

Clear verbal and written communication to ensure information is clearly passed to staff.

Supporting administration team and the Team Leader in completing daily tasks, liaising closely with staff.

Support the promotion and communication of Allocate systems.

Provide administration support with responding to the Temporary Staffing inboxs

Manage day to day telephone call queries.

Be courteous with staff, service providers and the general public treating them with dignity and respect.
