Working alongside Allied Health Professional staff you will contribute to the delivery and management of Adult Inpatient Therapy services. This will include ensuring the delivery of Occupational Therapy and AHP assessments, individualised treatment programmes and group work in our inpatient settings in line with the Model of Human Occupation and Recovery Model. Sitting within the Adult urgent care inpatient AHP team, you will be a highly valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and actively involved in MDT decision making processes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical leadership and operational management to the AHP Therapy team within Wolverhampton adult inpatient localities with the ability and enthusiasm to work across the Black Country. These teams are based within Penn Hospital, and Heath Lane MacArthur unit. There has been a substantial investment in inpatient AHP services as the trust is committed to providing a high-quality therapeutic service.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication and team working skills; have a good awareness of risk and managing risk; have excellent time management and professional conduct. This role will facilitate your professional development and equip you with range of leadership skills. You will be supported by regular clinical and management supervision, ongoing CPD opportunities and encouraged to contribute to the development of the wider adult mental health allied health professional services.
