Job summary
Wolverhampton 5 - 18 Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Diagnostic Pathway
We are a pathway designed to assess and diagnose ASC/ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) within NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) standards
We receive referrals for young people who show possible ASC traits. We then gather a variety of information and complete various assessments before they are presented to our multi-professional panel, where a team of professionals qualified in different relevant fields discuss the case and come to decision as to whether an ASC diagnosis is appropriate or if the young person's traits/presentation can be explained by an alternative prognosis
ASC admin's role is to assist in helping this happen as smoothly as possible.
The successful candidate will be required to work from base 5 days a week until fully trained, once trained 3 days in the office and if the office is covered 2 days working from home.

Main duties of the job
Processing referrals, creating, editing, using and up keeping various spreadsheets, documents and templates. Taking basic calls and passing on messages to the clinicians, contacting professionals and families on behalf of the pathway via letter, email and phone. Formatting & sending letters, gathering information from professionals, actioning and responding to a variety of emails both internal and external, booking rooms for clinicians and sending appointment letters, filing both electronic and physical paperwork. Sending resources to family, prioritising work & working independently and communicating with the team.
