Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response (EPRR) Coordinator to join the small, specialised EPRR team. The successful candidate will report to the EPRR Manger within the Chief Operating Officer's corporate team. The Team is responsible for the provision of professional and expert advice, guidance, information, building resilience through planning, training, exercising for and responding to a wide range of incidents and emergencies which could affect health or disrupt patient care.
This post will work closely with the EPRR Manger, Deputy EPRR Manager and Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and will play a pivotal role on supporting the coordination of the annual NHS EPRR core standards submissions.
The EPRR Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and maintenance of:
o BCHFT wide business continuity assessment and planning
o The provision of advice and guidance to all areas of BCHFT in relation to business continuity planning, review, testing and improvement
o Delivery of the NHSE Core standards for EPRR
o BCH Compliance to the core standards
Provide diary and secretariat support to ensure the DCOO is able to discharge their duties.
We are seeking an efficient individual with strong administration, organisational and communication skills with some knowledge and understanding of the EPRR agenda.
Main duties of the job

o Lead business continuity support and administration for BCHFT to support the achievement of organisational strategic objectives.
o Work collaboratively and at pace across all areas of BCHFT to ensure that business continuity activities in their area of responsibility are delivered in line with best practice such as BCI Good Practice Guide and ISO22301 standard principles.
o Design and implement processes to track the business continuity planning cycle for each area/division/ team
o Update the On Call App Management, including adding members and resetting passwords as well as updating documents and policies.
o Delivery of the manager and director on call rotas
