The Black Country Recovery College are looking to recruit a number of Administrators that will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for the Recovery College/s within the Trust to enable them to function efficiently and effectively. Please note this role involves working in our bases across the Black Country in Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be to support the Recovery College Administration Team Lead and Recovery College Principal in the administration of the Recovery College/s, act as a point of reference for incoming telephone calls, texts and queries, taking appropriate action personally, , offer front of house/ reception support in the recovery college/s, producing reports and letters in accordance with team/service procedures/guidelines, carry out general administrative and clerical functions including photocopying, filing, scanning and archiving as required, take notes or minutes; prepare agenda and action logs to support meetings as required and process the client referral system

Candidates would need to have gained a good standard of education for example at least five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications including or in addition to GCSE English (Grade A-C),, Word processing / typing at RSA/OCR Level II (or equivalent level / demonstrable experience) and evidence of continued development or training.
The role will require an individual to have significant experience of working in an office environment and experience in customer service and front office / reception, of using basic IT equipment and software Laptop, IPad and Microsoft Office, in using databases and creating reports, in using desktop publishing software including Microsoft Publisher and in attending a range of different meetings and taking the minutes in addition to experience of working in a mental health recovery focused environment and engaging with a diverse range of people. Individuals will need to be able to communicate effectively and have gained knowledge of confidentiality and computer packages including Microsoft Office and Microsoft publisher.
