Job summary
We are seeking an inclusive nursing leader with proven experience of leadership in large, complex, multi-stakeholder clinical environments, across a diverse range of services. You will have a track record of developing clinical leaders and a passion for high standards of nursing practice and for the services that we deliver. Main duties of the job
Working in collaboration with our board and colleagues across the organisation, the Chief Nursing Officer will provide highly visible clinical and professional leadership for our nursing workforce, acting as a role model for the Trust's values, behaviours, professional standards and embedding our commitment to a culture of continuous quality improvement. Engaging with a range of partners both internally and externally, this role is critical to ensuring that our nursing colleagues feel supported, equipped and empowered to deliver high quality person-centred care and experience every day for the diverse communities we serve. We are committed to co-production with our staff, service users, carers, stakeholders, and local communities to achieve happier, healthier lives, and we are looking for a leader who shares our vision and values.
