Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for staff to express their interest and apply for the EPR Configuration Support as part of the Business Intelligence team. The posts will being offered until March 2025 as a secondment or fixed term contract at band 5, the roles will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the Rio Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
The post holders will be required to work with clinical teams and possess excellent communication skills. You are expected to have some experience working with Rio, work with leads on the Trust's Community Transformation, Harmonisation programme and Rio Digital Road Map. The role will need to be proficient in managing a range of changing needs and competing demands.
Main duties of the job
- Be a point of contact for second line support to the EPR service desk for any queries, complex issues or configuration needs that cannot be addressed on the EPR helpdesk.
- Investigate complex problems escalated through the escalation system resolving internally or liaising with system provider.
- Work closely with the EPR helpdesk, training, information and performance teams and system suppliers in ensuring that the EPR system meets the requirements of clinicians, divisions, managers and Trust business requirements.
- Capture and validate user requirements, work within the EPR team to estimate work impact, agree work package and implement, maintain and support development of the EPR.
- Assisting with the testing and User Acceptance Testing of new versions on the systems, test documents on the system following upgrades to ensure they are working properly and effectively recording the testing results by use of test scripts.
- Provide, receive and work on a daily basis with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- To assist and support the Configuration Lead as required.
