Main duties of the job
Are you a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities, Registered Nurse Mental Health, Allied Health Professional or Psychologist with experience of and enthusiasm to work within Learning Disability? Then this is the job for you.
The Larches is a 14 bedded unit for assessment and treatment and rehabilitation learning disability service for males with intellectual disability and/or autism who require specially adapted treatment programs to enhance their care and rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and work collaboratively within a ward-based team as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team following the forensic pathway. You will be committed to delivering a high quality and safe service in line with CQC regional quality standards and the Reach out collaborative. Having the experience and ability to engage and communicate at all levels, leading effectively on service and team development. You will need to ensure that GSC KPI'S and CQUIN targets are achieved. Having in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act and an understanding of forensic care pathways is also essential.
