CAMHS Commissioning Manager (12 Months Fixed Term)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic commissioner to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Commissioning Team within Black Country Healthcare. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team with specific responsibility for commissioning across the system for CYP Mental Health as part of the Lead Provider model in the Black Country.
As an established and experienced health or social care professional, the successful candidate will work closely with senior colleagues within the wider team as well as the clinical division to support reviewing and commissioning of emotional mental health and wellbeing services to meet the needs of children and young people in the Black Country. The role is wide ranging and will work across the system contributing to the effective operational and strategic delivery of commissioning activities within the children and young people emotional mental health and wellbeing portfolio across the Black Country, working with locality leads.
This is a demanding yet exciting time to be involved in commissioning children and young people's emotional mental health and wellbeing services in the Black Country with the development and embedding of the Lead Provider model across the system which brings the ability to influence across the system and work in new and innovative ways.
Main duties of the job
As an established and experienced health or social care professional, the successful candidate will fulfil the role of supporting health and social colleagues to achieve positive outcomes with our citizens. The role is wide ranging and works across the pathway - from commissioning services to support people to live well at home, to those that manage crises / admission avoidance, and inpatient care.This is a demanding yet exciting time to be involved in Transforming Care in the Black Country as we explore the opportunities and changes it brings to the wider health and social care economy, and work in new and innovative ways.
