Student Health Visitor

Band 5 £27,055 - £32,934 per annum salary

37.5 hours

(Fixed Term contract for 12 Months commencing September 2023)

We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative committed and highly motivated registered Nurses/Midwives to undertake training on the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse / Health Visiting course within Black Country Healthcare Foundation Trust.

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of communication and motivation to complete both the clinical and academic elements of the course.

Main duties of the job

Applicant requirements are;

  • Current first level nurse/midwifery registration with the NMC
  • 120 Credits at Level 6
  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car to use for work purposes to meet the travel requirements of the post.

There is no guarantee of a Health Visitor post on completion of the training.Prospective students are required to also apply to the University of Wolverhampton and secure a University place.
