Job summary

Ocean Ward is a 6 bedded unit caring for patients requiring long term ventilation via tracheostomy.

It is essential we recruit experienced nurses that have a passion for the specialty to provide the standard of care we expect.

If you are an experienced (1 year post qualifying), Paediatric nurse we would welcome your application.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced band 5 (1 year plus) your job will be:

  • To provide high quality care for the child and family in a safe and professional environment.
  • Family integrated care is promoted by working in partnership with the child and family.
  • All staff will be supported in order to develop professional expertise in LTV
  • Professional development will support NMC and mandatory requirements and meet service need.
