Job summary

An exciting12-month fixed term posthas arisenfor an enthusiasticandwellorganisedAdministrator to play a fundamental role in providingday-to-dayadministrativesupportto the Genetics Laboratory team.

The role requires a dynamic individual with excellentorganisationaland communication skills. An essential part of the role involves communicating with a wide range of people at all levels, both internal and external to the department.

We are looking for an individual who canworkautonomouslybut alsoto be an integral part ofourteam.You willpossessexcellent I.T.skills,be able to manage andprioritiseyour workload,and havemeticulous attention to detail. You will have a flexible approach to work and be able to adapt quickly to the changing needsofthe Genetics Laboratoryteam.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be basedprimarilyatBirmingham Research Park,which iswithin walking distance ofBirmingham Women's Hospital, however there is an expectation that candidates will on occasion work between the two sites.
