Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Consultant to undertake this three-year FTC role. The successful candidate will work alongside Medical Clinicians, as well as the Trusts' Staff Experience and Wellbeing team.
Main duties of the job
This post is developed to lead on identifying the well-being needs, co-ordination, and delivery of sessions for postgraduate doctors in training.
A component of this role will be to liaise with other sources of support to postgraduate doctors in training/resident doctors, including the Postgraduate Clinical Tutors, Educational Supervisors, NHSE PSU and the Guardian of Safe Working.
There is an exciting opportunity for the postholder to develop BWC pastoral, self-care and wellbeing care offer for the postgraduate doctors in training/resident doctors, as well as shape the wider role of the medical workforce.
The post holder would be expected to have a demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for teaching postgraduates/resident doctors and be IT literate.
