Main duties of the job
This post is responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the pharmacy research and development pharmacy service across the Trust, including education and training within research. It is alsoresponsible for supporting the Associate Chief Pharmacist for R&D with the overall governance of clinical trials in Pharmacy, ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements are met.The post holder will ensure standards agreed for the clinical trial pharmacy service are met, ensuring performance is monitored and that services are provided efficiently, to the required GCP standards, and inaccordance with the needs of users.The post holder will be required to be a key member of Trust R&D multidisciplinary groups and represent the Trust at external system wide meetings.
