Job summary

As an integral part of the Education & Learning Team the post holder will have responsibility for the administration of a range of courses in your portfolio. The post holder will be required to undertake a range of administration duties which will include setting up new courses, updating existing course setups, managing course enquiries eg: Resuscitation Courses

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that attendance for courses is updated accurately and in a timely manner onto the OLM system and that any queries are actioned and resolved.

Assist with the co-ordination of conference/course room bookings on the Bookwise Education system and assist with all housekeeping duties pertaining to all bookings when necessary. To ensure that the Education Centre remains an efficient and well-ordered environment in which educational and learning activity can take place

Main duties of the job

Organisation & management of Resuscitation Courses

Handling of course & general enquiries ensuring that responses are timely & accurate.

Organisation & management of course related resources,

Ensuring that attendance for courses is updated accurately & in a timely manner and that queries are actioned and resolved.

Responding to problems and identification of any risks or concerns to the Education Centre Manager/Resuscitation Lead

To maintain an effective and comprehensive filing system for routine & confidential information to enable accurate retrieval

Prioritise work effectively on a daily basis.

To make room bookings & diary invites for all Resuscitation Courses

Book hotel accommodation for Course Faculty members

Organise catering for Resuscitation courses where appropriate

To maintain the highest standards of confidentiality

To support both the PG & UG MedicalEducation Teams when required

Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain the Education Centre provision involving clearing away catering supplies, ensuring that all rooms are tidy and fit for purpose
