The Birmingham Women's & Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a substantive Consultant in gynecology with special interest in Placenta Accreta Spectrum

Main duties of the job

Working closely with colleagues in the direct team and across Obstetric and Gynaecology services and networks. The attached job description describe the services at our Trust and outline both proposed Job descriptions for the roles available.

These posts are advertised as full-time roles, however applicants wishing to be considered for a position with fewer sessions are welcome to apply. The post holders are required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid license to practice medicine at this level.   • oMRCOG or appropriate specialist registration
  • oRelevant CCT or equivalent ('equivalence' must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
  • oEntry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
  • oCompletion of Labour Ward ATSM
  • oExperience of supervising junior staff
  • oPrepared to live within 10 miles or 30 minutes of the hospital or remain resident whilst on call
