Job summary
The Clinical Support Worker/Administrator is a member of the care team appointed to support registered practitioners in delivering care, to a defined group of patients. They will also be required to undertake designated housekeeping and administrative duties as identified by their manager. This will include but not be limited to registering patients on Lorenzo, filing and tracking patient notes, ordering and organising stock.
The post holder will undertake a range of clinical activities under the supervision and direction of an appropriately qualified or professionally registered practitioner, having received training and been assessed as competent in the activities required.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will be an integral member of the respiratory and cystic fibrosis(CF)multidisciplinaryteams, andwill work closely with all associated clinical and non-clinical professionals. The role will be supported by other colleagues within the respiratory and CF teams and there will be times when cross-cover will be required for annual leave, sicknessetc, under the direction of the lead nurse.
