Job summary
Exciting opportunity to work at a primary treatment center for Haemotology & Oncology. We are a busy unit with both inpatient and outpatient services covering a variety of age groups.
Main duties of the job
o Welcome patients and families to the department.
o Maintain a safe working environment.
o Maintain toys and equipment - ensuring Trust Infection Control and cleaning policies
are adhered to.
o Ensure that all children and young people have appropriate access to general/normalising play, recreation activities and leisure time during their time atBirmingham Women's and Children's Hospital.
- Ensuring children and young people have access to normalising and general play and recreation to help reduce anxiety/fear of a familiar/unfamiliar environment

- oPrevious relevant experience, especially in the care of children/young people aged 0-19 years
