The Gynaecology Directorate has vacancies for full-time Band 4 MedicalSecretaries to provide comprehensive, reliable, confidential secretarial andadministrative support to the clinical teams within this Directorate.
The successful applicant(s) will be part of a secretarial team to work within subspecialities, such as, oncology, endometriosis and fertility services for consultants and their clinical teams.
We are looking for experienced secretaries who are highly motivated anddedicated individuals. It is essential that applicants can work on their owninitiative but also work collaboratively with other secretaries and departments, demonstrate effective organisational skills, have excellent communication skills, can prioritise their workload, work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and understand patient confidentiality and rights.

This Trust is a centre of excellence in specialist healthcare for women, children and their families in the West Midlands. As a large regional centre, we provide many specialist services for the West Midlands and beyond as well as midwife led services for our local and diverse community.

- Minimum GCSE English grade C or above
- RSAIII typewriting/audio-typewriting or equivalent
- ECDL or equivalent relevant experience
- Medical Terminology to RSA level or equivalent working experience

- Experience as a PA/Medical Secretary
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. word processing, Powerpoint, database & spreadsheet skills, etc
