As a proud partner in the newly formed Mental Health Provider Collaborative, we jointly deliver all mental health services to the population of Birmingham and Solihull, strengthening our ties with Birmingham and Solihull mental health trust, the lead provider.
Now is an exciting time to be a key leader in two new and evolving provider collaboratives as Birmingham Womens and Childrens Hospital takes the lead in providing Tier 4 inpatient CAMHS services in the Midlands
Main duties of the job
As our Associate Director of Nursing, you'll collaborate with the Divisional Director of Operations, Deputy Medical Director, and Divisional Director of Psychological Therapies to achieve the division's objectives and ensure that children, young people, and their families receive the highest quality care and a positive experience within our services.
Our services span five main sites across the city, including three community hubs, a city centre base and referral management centre, and our Parkview Clinic. You'll be based at Parkview Clinic, the headquarters for the divisional management team, where you'll work alongside a strong Divisional leadership team to provide unwavering support for our local leadership teams and the eight clinical groups that form the division.
The post holder will lead transformational change in the delivery of patient safety and improving the patient experience within their clinical groups, supporting the Chief Nurse in the Trust wide strategic development of the nursing workforce. The postholder will provide clinical leadership and line management to the senior nursing team in the Mental Health Divison with an emphasis continuous improvement.
Working in collaboration across Birmingham Womens and Childrens NHS FT and across the Provider Collaboratives for Mental Health is a key requirement for this role.
