Job summary

Job outline:

  1. To run the data quality and any other identified reports on reporting services.
  2. To review data quality errors, identify issues and correct errors, working within agreed policies and procedures.
  3. To record all instances of incomplete registrations onto a control sheet, to enable reporting by the Corporate Informatics Department.
  4. To interact with the wards and departmental areas of the Trust to resolve the data quality issues.
  5. To use other national solutions, e.g. Summary care Record.
  6. To work closely with the Safeguarding teams regarding alerts required in iPM
  7. Identify any data quality trends and escalate to the Data Quality & Systems Manager.
  8. Support any upgrades of Lorenzo iPM & Ormis

Main duties of the job

Key Result Areas:

  1. All patients are correctly registered onto the Lorenzo System.
  2. All activity submitted is correctly entered onto the Lorenzo System and in a timely manner.
  3. Control sheets are available relating to the monitoring of incomplete and invalid data
  4. All new codes are regularly updated and system problems are swiftly resolved.
  5. Standard reports are produced in keeping with specified deadlines

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • IHRIM CTC basic level, ECDL or equivalent

Desirable

  • Educated to GCSE English & Mathematics level.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous Administration experience
  • Microsoft Office experience

Desirable

  • Knowledge and Understanding of the GDPR and the Data protection act 1998 and patient confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Lorenzo System &/or PC Experience
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety in the Workplace legislation
