Job summary

We have an opportunity for a confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Dispensary Team.
The post holder should be an excellent communicator and team player, who is committed to providing the best service for our patients and families.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills within the Dispensary and Distribution areas. Reception duties will be a key part of your work in the dispensary.
You will also participate in a 7 day working service including bank holidays and late nights.
Applicants will have a good all round education, ideally with the NVQ L2 in Pharmacy Services, but not essential as an opportunity will be offered to study for this award.
Recent experience working as part of a team and/or working with the public would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
- Reception duties in the dispensary
- Dealing with routine queries, over the telephone and face to face
- Use various Pharmacy systems to track work
- Prioritising workload in order to meet deadlines
- Deliveries and Ward Stock replenishment
