Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide group work, direct, face-to-face sessions and consultation for teams and staff who are referred to the service. The post-holder will be responsible for undertaking assessment and interventive work with teams and individual staff members, when required, as part of the Staff Support Service.

The posts could be appointed either as a preceptorship towards an 8a role for the right applicant wishing to develop from a band 7 or be appointed at 8a. Responsibilities would be adjusted accordingly. We are able to put a full development plan in place from day one to support applicants wishing to be considered for this post as a preceptorship.

The post holder will be based within the Health in Mind team, which is a multi-disciplinary team including clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists and a liaison psychiatrist.

The post-holder will specifically be involved in providing input to the staff well-being service.
