Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and exceptional mental health clinician to become a Senior Clinical Nurse Manager (SCNM) within Forward Thinking Birmingham. The post welcomes applications for nurses who meet the person specification. The successful candidate will be covering across the 4 community hubs, working closely with the Head of Nursing.
Main duties of the job
Providing management of community nurse managers and associated nursing / AHP teams.
Maintain and extend own professional competence and sustain authority of professional expertise through practice and continuing professional development.
To participate in any tendering processes which are relevant to the service area (existing ornew business).
To carry out lead responsibilities on behalf of the Mental Health Services
To contribute to the on-call rota as required.
To be proactive in developing key relationships, in line with the Trust's stakeholder relationship management approach, e.g., Local Authority, NHS Commissioners, GPs Third Sector.
To deputise for the Deputy Chief Nurse and the Head of Nursing when required.
Any other duties commensurate with banding and nature of this post as allocated by the Head of Nursing / Deputy Chief Nurse.
