Job summary

Two posts available - a fantastic opportunity to join the busy Patient Experience Team as Business Administration Apprentice's - Level 3. Working across several Patient Experience workstreams, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative and exciting projects, including Arts, Inclusion and Diversity, Language Support and Patient Information. Patient Experience sits centrally to all activities in the Trust and you will have a unique opportunity to gain experience in working with staff, patients and families across many different departments.

This is a great opportunity to develop strong Business Administration skills as part of an 18 month Apprenticeship in conjunction with Sandwell College. Task that you will have the opportunity to work on include, designing questionnaires and collecting feedback from our patients and families, answering phone calls and email enquiries in our busy Interpreting and Cultural Insight Team, developing a wider knowledge of EDI by acting as project support on the Trust-wide Awareness Programme and providing project administration support for Arts activities, liaising with entertainers, collecting feedback and much more!

Main duties of the job

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be working on a wide range of Patient Experience Projects relating to Arts, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Patient Information and Language and Cultural support.

Developing skills such as creating presentations, collecting, analysing, and inputting data, taking telephone enquiries, liaising with staff, patients and families and external partners in person, on the phone and via email. Collecting survey information, analysing data, supporting key Patient Experience events and so much more!

You will develop strong organisational and administrative skills to ensure the progression of key Patient Experience projects and initiatives.

The Business Administration Apprenticeship - level 3 is delivered by Sandwell College and is 18 months in total. The course will allow you to build a foundation of skills which are needed to be successful. You will work through a variety of modules to gain the experience and skills needed to succeed as an administrator which include:
