Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist with excellent clinical and organizational skills to join the Medicines Chest Outpatient Pharmacy Clinical team. We provide for Obstetrics, Gynaecology,Neonatology, Paediatrics and Children's Mental Health. You will be responsible for assisting the pharmacy manager, providing care to some of the most vulnerable patients and families in our population. You will have the opportunity to work across two sites after establishing yourself at your base site. You will be assisting in the delivery of a service which is busy and demanding but offers the prospect of being able to make a real difference to the lives of patients and colleagues.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who can play an important role in ensuring that the service is delivered safely and with operational efficiency. You will have the skills to assist the pharmacy manager to not just manage people but also to motivate and inspire them. You will be supported by a pharmacy manager, business manager and an excellent senior team. You do not need to have Mental Health experience as we are looking for an exceptional candidate. We can provide the clinical training and specialist teams to support you to safely manage the prescriptions for our fascinating services!
There is a 40-hour vacancy on the Women's Hospital site primarily providing for Mental Health but rotating through our specialties. Shift hours are 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday in 4 with compensating time off.
