Job summary
The successful applicant will join the existing team in the Skin and Renal Units. The major commitment is at the Fulham Road branch, for which the postholder will provide leadership to the clinical service and the research team. The post holder will contribute to the work of both Chelsea and Sutton units and will attend the Friday morning Sutton clinic. The commitment will be three melanoma and renal cell carcinoma clinics per week. This will include both face to face and offering remote consultations.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will be required to participate in the out-of-hours medical oncology consultant on-call rota (1 in 33)
- Office space and secretarial support will be provided at the Fulham Road branch of the Royal Marsden.
- Junior doctors (HEE trainees and clinical fellows) support the clinical and research activities of the Renal/Melanoma teams. Clinical roles and educational leadership will be shared.
