This post holder will manage some of our relationships with industry partners, looking at where we can extend our commercial research portfolio as a site, as well as looking for opportunities to develop The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, Investigator lead Trials portfolio.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and proficient in communicating with a wide range of very senior stakeholders across The Royal Marsden and industry partners. They will have the ability to efficiently and effectively project manage research initiatives and realise wide-ranging benefits for all.
The post-holder will:
- Work in close partnership with teams of key industry partners delivering together as a singular team.
- Provides, excellent secretariat support for key meetings between industry partners and The Royal Marsden.
- Provide senior support to the partnership of The Royal Marsden and industry partners, through a combination of both meetings and project management. This will require the development and implementation of new tracking systems to record and follow-up on the delivery of all workstreams and associated arising actions. Responsibility for delivery of some activities will be with the post-holder solely, whereas responsibility for other activities will lay with other stakeholders that the post-holder must work with to ensure delivery.
